Question

voltage?

Is it 110/220 V or is it just 110? Many consumer products especially electronics have a built in converter. I live overseas and the use of an external converter is always problematic

All of our electrics are designed for the US system. We are strictly 110 v. My suggestion is to contact KitchenAid's international group. Here is the URL: http://international.kitchenaid.com...

Question

What is the material of the pot interior?

A reviewer on another site claimed the interior of the kettle was "lined" in plastic. I know it has a view window, and that is certain to be plastic. Aside: I don't know why manufacturers think this is so essential. I use a pot with a view window - belongs to a friend - and I really can't tell clearly because of condensation, so I end up opening the pot anyway. Big deal! Wow, so much work to push that button. But, is the entire interior of the pot lined in plastic as the reviewer claimed?
